What I got for Christmas

Hello Lovelies!

I hope you all had an amazing Christmas! I didn't do anything out of the ordinary, just spent it with my Mum, Dad and brother and worked an awful lot! Ten hours today, (Boxing Day sales I dislike you!) However I still had a great day and ate to my heart's content :) Anyway I uploaded another YouTube video discussing everything I got! It's a long one haha..

I received some lovely gifts this year and really have been spoilt!

What was your favourite present this year?

My Favourite Things About Christmas

I'll start with the obvious one, the decorations! I love decorating my uni flat and coming back to all the home decs! I also love everything else that's festive, clothes, pyjamas, coffee cups.. I love it all and will be sad when it's gone! :(

Christmas scents! I have a growing candle obsession and at the moment I'm loving all the Yankee Christmas candles! I bought the set of all the votives to try them all out and a medium sized Christmas Eve one as that's my favourite!

Baking yummy Christmas food! I love cooking anyway but Christmas time gives me the excuse to go all out with the naughty treats ;).

Christmas nights out! Everyone loves a Christmas night out, whether its a full night on the town or just a couple of drinks at your local pub or a friend's house, it's an excuse to get glammed up and don some festive head gear!

Wrapping presents! It feels good to give and it's a good way to get your creative juices flowing.

Seeing my boyfriend. He lives far away so when we do see each other it's even more special!

I love all the beautiful sunsets we get at this time of the year.

Getting to spend time with my family, as being at university I don't see them every day anymore!

And lastly, seeing my home friends! Because most of us are at uni now it is very hard to find time to see each other as we are so busy and all live miles apart! So when we all get together at Christmas it's so nice because we have so much to catch up one and it's like nothing has changed.

My Week in Photos 2

Although I have been very busy working this week and have been all over the place, (back and forth from home to Sheffield!) I have still managed to fit in lots of festiveness! :) Here's my week in pictures!

I'm actually impressed at how festive I've been this week! I didn't really realise until I was captioning these.. You may be lucky enough to have another blog post later tonight, as I'm attempting to pull an allnighter to prepare myself for my nightshift tomorrow! Last shift before Christmas eeeek! If you work in retail, I feel your pain!

My Week in Photos

Hey Lovelies :) I've been wanting to start writing "my week in photos" posts for a while now, I'd like to post these weekly; ideally on a Sunday, just as a quick review of my week! Thought they'd also be nice to look back on for me. Also, this way if I'm busy and haven't had time for a proper post I'm still keeping you updated :).

1. Dad finally put the tree up at home!
2. Majorly wrapped up walking home from work after finishing at 11.30pm, hate Christmas shopping hours!!
3. I finally learnt now to do a fish tail braid! Thanks FleurDeForce!
4. My Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette arrived!!! It's an Xmas present so can't use it yet, but there will be a review in the new year!
5. I made my first YouTube video! The Christmas Tag.
6. Catching up with my home friends at an Xmas house party :).

I've entered the world of YouTube...

Hi Lovelies!
So last night I spontaneously made my first YouTube video! I watched Alfie's (PointlessBlog) Christmas Tag and as I was feeling festive I thought I'd give it a go! I'm still going to be blogging mainly with the odd video here and there, as I don't have the time or equipment to produce quality videos at the moment, but it is something I'd like to do more of in the future :) It's not as easy as it looks, I had a right 'mare editing it!
