Bioderma Review

I finally got my hands on some Bioderma! I was in Barcelona when I spotted it in a small chemist, I just had to buy it since it was the last day and I had some left over euros that needed spending...

The Claim:

"Created to suit the needs of those who experience skin irritation and redness, the alcohol-free formula soothes and cools as it cleanses. Sensibio H2O guarantees cutaneous and ocular tolerance for the skin and the eyes with its physiological pH and soap-free base.
The cleanser removes impurities using micelles, which micro-emulsify impurities while maintaining the skin’s balance. Added decongesting active ingredients prevent irritation, making the skin feel instantly refreshed, perfectly clean and free from all make-up – including water resistant mascara."
I absolutely love this product. It really does feel like I'm taking off my makeup with water, it doesn't feel or smell like it contains harsh chemicals and it removes nearly all of my makeup with just one cotton pad. I usually go over my face again with another just for good measure.

I feel like this product is great for lazy days when it's late and I can't be bothered to use my face wash, this will get off all my makeup just as good and is much better for your skin than using wipes. However I usually incorporate it into my usual nighttime routine, which starts with my Clinique cleanser and I then use this after to remove any stubborn remaining makeup. Afterwards my skin feels so clean and fresh.

I cannot reccomend this product enough. It is great for sensitive skin and is really good value for money. And the best part is it's now available in the UK! Apparently some chemists are now stocking it, and it is also available on Amazon and Escentual

Have you tried Bioderma? What did you think?

NB: This post was scheduled before I went to America. I will currently be sunning it up and won't be back until mid September, so I apologise for any late replies to comments etc! I will get back to you when I can! x

MUA Nectar £1 Lipstick Review

I recently had a wander round Superdrug and I spotted an MUA orange/coral lipstick that I liked the look of. Slightly brighter than what I'd usually go for, but I usually buy a cheaper brand before purchasing a more expensive brand and then realising it doesn't suit me!

This shade is Nectar in number £16. MUA lipsticks are only £1 and an absolute bargain. For that price you don't expect much, but I really like it! I don't apply it straight to my lips as the first time I tried that it was very bright, so I tend to just dab it on lightly with my fingers and build up the colour gradually until it's how I like it.

The product doesn't dry out my lips at all (although I always apply a little bit of Nivea lip balm before I apply any lipstick) it doesn't last all day but for £1 I don't mind!

If you would like to delve into the world of coral and orange lipsticks I would definitely recommend trying this shade to see if you like it. It is a lovely colour to wear for summer and instantly brightens any summer look. It is available here on the MUA website.
